Sukhum. June 23. Apsnypress. Director of the Institute of Bekhterov, chairman of the Russian Society of Psychiatrists, Professor Nikolay Neznanov visited a psychiatric hospital in Gulripsh. Neznanov talked with Abkhazian colleagues and held consultations for one of the patients. "This is only the first step in our cooperation", - said the chief doctor of the Republican specialized psychiatric hospitals Georgiy Kortava.
Head of medical institution said that training at the Russian Institute of experts in the field of child epileptology for Abkhazia and the ability to advise our patients in St. Petersburg are considering. One of the promising areas of cooperation with the famous Russian center for psychiatry - is the involvement of experts of the Institute to "work" in our country that will make it possible to examine patients routinely.
It is planned to hold a conference on mental health in our country, in cooperation with their Russian counterparts, Department of Information Technology of the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Abkhazia.
