Residents of Abkhazia vote on amendments to the Constitution of Russia

Abkhazia is voting on the approval of amendments to Constitution of the Russian Federation.

Sukhum. July 1. Apsnypress. A vote is being held on the issue of approving amendments to the Constitution of the Russian Federation at the Russian Embassy in Abkhazia, at polling station number 8000.

Chairman of precinct election commission Maxim Litvinov informed about the voting process: “The polling station opened from 8:00 in the morning and will close at 20:00. There is noted a big turnout.
As Litvinov emphasized, at site No. 8000 all measures were taken to ensure health safety: “Masks are given out, hands are disinfected. A limited number of people are allowed in the polling station. ”

“The process is going on, mainly residents of the capital vote, but there are people from other regions of Abkhazia,” the chairman of the precinct commission summed up.
