Sanaa Abo Zayed: the Abkhaz people are very close to the people of Syria

President of Abkhazia Raul Khajimba received the delegation of the People's Council of the Syrian Arab Republic.

Sukhum. October 3. Apsnypress. Lana Tsvizhba. Greeting the delegation of the People's Council of Syria, President of Abkhazia Raul Khajimba stressed that the country is aware of the processes that are taking place in Syria.

"It is very important for us that justice prevails. Many adversities have been brought into the life of Syria. The processes that took place in the North of Africa, in Iraq, are links in one chain. The West and the Americans are trying to influence the world processes. This is unacceptable neither for Syria, nor for those who want to live and create peacefully, " - Khajimba said.

Nevertheless, the head of state noted that the situation in Syria is changing: "The Syrian Army is carrying out appropriate work to eliminate all formations that oppose the Syrian people." And, according to him, "an important role in solving the tasks faced by the Syrian people is played by support and understanding on the part of the Russian Federation."

"We want to build relations with friends of Russia who are ready to cooperate and work with us. Abkhazia is a state with interesting and significant potential. We have many opportunities related to tourism, good resources in the agro-industrial sector. All this requires certain investments, " - Khajimba said.

Raul Khajimba stressed: "It is important that the delegation from Syria is next to the day when Abkhazia celebrates the 24th anniversary of the Victory. If earlier there was interaction between us, connected only with the Abkhaz diaspora, which lives in Syria, today there is an opportunity to talk about a completely different level of cooperation. Syria and its people should know that Abkhazia know its problem and support the position that the Syrian leadership has."

The head of the delegation, the observer of the People's Council of the Syrian Arab Republic, Sanaa Abo Zayed, on behalf of the delegation congratulated the President of Abkhazia on the 24th anniversary of the Victory in the War of Abkhazia. "We had an idea that the Abkhaz people are very close to the people of Syria. The situation that is happening in Syria is familiar to you. You have been through this pain that we are experiencing today. And in the future we also want to feel the taste of victory, " - said Sanaa Abo Zaid.

Sanaa Abo Zaid told about the situation in Syria: "From my point of view, we will win very soon. This is promoted by the active actions of the Syrian army and the government of the republic. The Russian Federation plays an important role in the settlement of the Syrian question. But despite the efforts of Russia and other countries aimed at resolving the conflict peacefully, there are forces that support the destruction and methods of war. I say destruction, because most infrastructure facilities in Syria were destroyed. We are confident in our leadership, we will be able to overcome this pain and begin to rebuild the economy in the near future."

At the end of the meeting Raul Khajimba wished victory and good luck to the Syrian people. The parties exchanged memorable gifts.
