Seminar on the description of the mechanism of public-private partnerships, and the possibility of its implementation in Abkhazia took place in the capital

In all of this, it reduces the load on the state budget, due to which a large part of the costs passed on to investors. But as far as the theme of public-private partnership is relevant to Abkhazia? Theme of PPP also gradually become a subject of discussion, but still new. The use of public-private partnerships in our economy needed to improve the processes of investment and attract additional investment resources, improve the quality of services in the sector of public administration and in the sectors of social and cultural sphere, increasing the efficiency of use of all resources. Vitaliy Maksimov is sure that this partnership can exist in Abkhazia. "But it will require additional efforts. Primarily, this is due to the state-legal status. Existing political risks lead to the fact that the need to further and more in-depth study of PPP projects in those areas where private investment is not very high, so that on the first pilot projects to demonstrate the positive experience and the possibility of public-private partnership ", - said Maximov . 

Deputy head of the administration Leon Kvarchia believes that this tool is extremely relevant for Abkhazia. Because for a long time, the basic parameters of the state budget does not allow the implementation of their own funds major infrastructure projects. Practical implementation of any project is always preceded by a theoretical basis. The development of PPPs is not possible without a sustainable educational base.    

Public private partnership is innovation in our country, so such educational activities are necessary for it - according to the participants.
