Sukhum. July 30. Apsnypress. Since yesterday, the beach is closed for swimming by a decision of the SES due to the high incidence of illnesses of holiday makers.

"After receiving the results of repeat virologic analysis of water, which will be ready tomorrow afternoon, we will decide to lift the order or extend it", - said the chief sanitary doctor of Sukhum Alla Belyaeva.

Belyaeva identified several beaches recommended for bathing - a beach "Aitar" and virtually the entire zone area of Mayak.

"The farther away from the town center, the better" - said Belyaeva.

To date, we have not collected comprehensive data on all the beaches, and the work continues.

To help Abkhazian colleagues came Professor of Stavropol Research Institute Olga Maletskaya.

There is a cooperation agreement between institution and sanitary-epidemiological station.
