All works on the reconstruction of treatment facilities are completed and estimates the cost of the needs of their contents reconciled with the Ministry of the Russian Federation for the North Caucasus.

Payments needs for the maintenance of the object are agreed by MU "Municipal management administration of Sukhum" with the Ministry of the Russian Federation for the North Caucasus and made available to the Intergovernmental Committee, as the project is included in the list of the Comprehensive Plan to promote socio-economic development of Abkhazia.
After financing the project will be launched.
According to head of the municipal administration Elena Atepina, now there are works at treatment facility, which involve six people.
In addition, as Atepina noted, work on the founding documents is continuing.
"It was decided to establish MUP. It was considered for inclusion in the structure of the water treatment plant construction, but given that the work is specific, it was decided to make a separate treatment plant structure ", - explained head of the municipal administration.
With the launch of the sewage treatment plant four stages of purification will undergo: a rough cleaning of garbage, purification of oils and fats, cleaning of the pool with bacterias and chlorine treatment.
Currently, the treatment plant receives about 1.5 thousand cubic meters of water per hour, but it can take 30 thousand cubic meters.
Work on the construction began in 2011, the total project cost - 606 million rubles.
