On August 7 and 8 passage of citizens in places crossing the state border is prohibited, because of security plan during the commemorative events.

South Ossetia. August 6. Apsnypress. On the eve of the seventh anniversary of the tragic events in South Ossetia in August 2008, as part of the security plan during the commemorative events it was decided to close the state border with Georgia for two days.

The state border will be closed on August 7 and 8, said the source of "Apsnypress" in Tskhinval.

Residents of South Ossetia have the right to cross the state border with a pass that gives KGB to residents of certain border settlements.

According to information posted on the official website of the KGB of South Ossetia in Facebook, passage of people will be resumed on August 9 in the normal mode.
