On the eve of the Day of Russian recognition of the independence of South Ossetia, Speaker of the National Assembly of the Parliament of the Republic of Abkhazia, Valery Bganba sent a congratulatory address to the Chairman of the Parliament of the Republic of South Ossetia, Anatoly Bibilov.

"Dear Anatoly Ilyich!
On behalf of the People's Assembly of the Parliament of the Republic of Abkhazia I congratulate you, your colleagues and all the people of South Ossetia on the seventh anniversary of the recognition of sovereignty and independence of the Republic of South Ossetia by the Russian Federation.
August 26 is a historic day for our people, who by the price of irreplaceable losses, and enormous efforts achieved independence and international recognition of their states.
Today the Republic of South Ossetia and Abkhazia are confidently moving along the path of development and creation. We value the ties of friendship that have linked our fraternal peoples. "
In his congratulatory address he also expressed confidence that the further strengthening of inter-parliamentary cooperation will promote all-round cooperation between the two republics.
Valery Bganba wished Anatoly Bibilov and all the people of South Ossetia peace and prosperity.
