Special commission of the Town Assembly will oversee the development of resort and tourism in Sukhum

Sukhum. June 4. Apsnypress. Were invited MPs of the Assembly, representatives of the town administration, municipal services, SES, Chief of police of Sukhum and other interested agencies. 

Reporting on the establishment of the Commission of the SGS, its chairman Alexey Archeliya stressed that tourism - a revenue generating sector of the town, so the main goal of the Commission designed to solve problems of the resort, will be the creation of the legal framework. "I think the first meeting of the Commission will show those areas where deputies will be able to help in the organization of urban services of certain works, the initiation of the necessary regulations", - said Archeliya. 

Discussing the problems of the tourism industry, Deputy Minister of Economy Ahra Aristava cited the statistics: "For 5 months of this year, turnover growth was more than 60%. That is willing to expand trade in consumer demand. " However, he noted, referring to the special studies that among the main problems plaguing travelers, people do not even called the situation at border crossings, but litter, rudeness and violation of trading rules. 

In this regard, the chief of MU "Municipal Management Administration of Sukhum" Elena Atepina told about the new regulations approved for cleaning the town. In the summer, the streets of the capital will be watered, from Monday in town will be installed 50 new galvanized garbage containers, janitorial work is divided into two-shift mode. 

About plans for the organization of the summer-holiday period also told the heads of other departments. Among the necessary measures were mentioned: control of trade rules and public transport, as well as the prevention of traffic enforcement, signposting, protection of beaches and so on. Even today, are set out measures for the protection of the coastline of the town. For example, 7  guard points are outlined from the Mayak territory to the Administration of the President.
