Boxwood moth will suffer first blow in Pitsunda's array.
Sukhum. June 30. Apsnypress. First Deputy Prime Minister Shamil Adzynba held a working meeting with ministers, representatives of concerned departments and research leaders on the issue of preservation of boxwood and pest control - boxwood moth.
The meeting decided to create a special commission to conduct work on pest control and develop a preliminary plan of action.
For Pest Control decided to use insecticide - "dimilin", which is harmless to humans and is considered as the most gentle to the environment.
"We must take into account that now is the midst of the holiday season, and our work must be safe for people", - said Deputy Prime Minister.
It was decided to start from Pitsunda's array because there affected about 90% of boxwood.
To organize it all in Pitsunda will be delivered technology, which has the Ministry of Agriculture - 13 tractors and one glider to spray insecticide in hard areas to reach from the air. Then the same work will be caried out along the road to Bzypskoye gorge.
