Special tax will be replaced by a simplified tax system

The draft law was adopted by the Parliament on first reading.

Sukhum. October 31. Apsnypress.  At the session of the National Assembly of Parliament of Abkhazia, they discussed a draft law “On simplified taxation system.”
 
Introducing the document, Natalie Smyr, Chairperson of the Committee on Budget, Credit Organizations, Taxes and Finances, noted: “The new bill will lead to replacement of special tax.”
 
 Moreover, the special tax has become a kind of tax evasion system.
 
 According to document: “The bill provides introduction of a simplified tax system in Abkhazia in the form of a single sales tax, which replaces the payment of most main types of tax. Simplification of taxation and, accordingly, tax accounting should help to improve the conditions for the functioning of small and medium-sized businesses by reducing the financial and labor costs of maintaining records and calculating taxes. ”
