Sports community of Abkhazia asks not to mix sports with politics

Sukhum. June 29. Apsnypress. Abkhazian athletes issued a statement asking not to make sport a tool of political intrigues. 

"We, the athletes love sport and want " Dynamo "stadium in Sukhum be opened. It is because at any appeal that promote the appearance or discovery of any new sports facility, we can safely put our signatures. Without hesitation. So it was a statement of representatives of the sports community, which we have signed. We did not hesitate and getting a grasp in the text. There is no such a title as general manager of the construction company in sport. There are the champions, there are winners and those who will be lucky next time, but there are no losers, as no directors, accountants, heads of departments and sectors. 

All these titles and regalia, appearing in a variety of criminal cases are prerogative of the law enforcement agencies, which we believe should remember about the principle of the presumption of innocence and the principle of inevitability of punishment. Our job is a fair competition ", - says the statement.
