State Standard of the Republic of Abkhazia established the list of products to mandatory certification

Sukhum. August 18. Apsnypress. The State Committee on standards, consumer and Technical Supervision of the Republic of Abkhazia approved the list of products subject to mandatory conformity assessment (in the form of mandatory certification system GOST), produced on the territory of the Republic of Abkhazia. 

The list includes food products produced in the Republic of Abkhazia to be monitored security products for the life and health of citizens, property of individuals and organizations, the environment, bread and bakery products, milk and dairy products, meat and meat products, sausages, fish, canned vegetables, canned fruit and berries, confectionery, flour products, tea industry products, fruits, berries, nuts; vodka and alcoholic beverages, cognac, wine, including domestic production, and other products. Non-food products included in the list: tobacco products, furniture, appliances, building materials and coal, electric power, the press service of the State Standard of the Republic of Abkhazia.

State Standard of the Republic of Abkhazia shall inform the manufacturers (sellers, executors) which products are subject to compulsory certification implemented on the territory of the Republic of Abkhazia, the obligation to sell the products only in the presence of a certificate issued by the certification body, accredited by the State Committee of the Republic of Abkhazia on standards, consumer and Technical Supervision .
