Sukhum Town Assembly and the Legislative Assembly of St. Petersburg signed a Memorandum of Understanding

The signing of a Memorandum will give an impulse for new fruitful relations between the two towns and countries in the field of tourism and high-tech production.

Sukhum. December 7. Apsnypress. The signing of a Memorandum of Understanding between Sukhum Town Assembly and the Legislative Assembly of St. Petersburg took place  at the Mariinsky Palace, St. Petersburg. The press service of the STA.
 
  STA Chairman Konstantin Piliya thanked the Petersburg deputies for the invitation to visit St. Petersburg and said that the signing of the memorandum will give an impulse for new fruitful relations between the two cities and countries in the field of tourism and high-tech production.
 
 For his part, chairman of St. Petersburg LA Vyacheslav Makarov noted the high importance of the signed document, which will contribute to further strengthening of relations in the economic and cultural life of the two countries. "The memorandum will allow us to develop not only our friendly contacts, but also to strengthen the strategic partnership", - said Makarov.
 
After the ceremony in the Red Hall of the Mariinsky Palace was held a meeting of President of the Legislative Assembly of St. Petersburg Vyacheslav Makarov and the official delegation of Sukhum Town Assembly. During the meeting the parties discussed prospects of co-operation and exchanged gifts.
