Tatarstan journalists got acquainted with the tourist potential of Abkhazia

Representatives of the leading mass media of Tatarstan spoke on the results of the visit at a news conference.

At the invitation of the RA Chamber of Commerce, a delegation of representatives of the leading mass media of Tatarstan, as well as the country's business and cultural circles is in Abkhazia. The purpose of their visit is to familiarize with the economic and tourism potential of the Republic of Abkhazia, followed by the lighting of information in RT editions. Representatives of Tatarstan delegation and business structures of Abkhazia spoke on the outcome of the visit at a news conference.
 
 On the experience of working with small and medium-sized businesses informed the Chairman of the Board of the Banking Association of Tatarstan Lyudmila Kitaitseva: "Tatarstan has three support programs for small and medium businesses: at the federal level, the republic and city. If the employer takes out a loan for three years under the city program, the first year the interest rate is 0%, the second and third year - 10%. To be effective, there is a special guarantee fund of banking system established , which checks the legal entities and individuals and gives them a guarantee".
 For her part, Managing Director of "Tatarstan" magazine Nina Ahmetshina expressed the willingness to cooperate with colleagues from Abkhazia: "Our magazine is the leading media in the country. And if Abkhazia delegation will visit Tatarstan, we are ready to provide a conference room and cover this event with all information resources of the Republic".
 
 The interest in bilateral cooperation expressed also the director of the online portal TatCenter.ru: "There are many similarities between Abkhazia and Tatarstan. Both republics are investment attractive and active. I, There are many workshops conducted annually in Tatarstan, master classes and other events that can become a platform for the development of cooperation between the media of the two countries".
 
 Director of the Kazan House Museum of Aksenov Irina Aksenova talked about friendship of writer Vasily Aksenov with Fazil Iskander and noted the need to establish in Abkhazia a Museum named after Iskander : "Aksenov and Iskander were friends in youth, had a lot in common in their work. Both were published in the anthology "Metropol", where young writers could freely express opinions without Soviet censorship. I propose to create in Sukhum a museum named after Iskander and build a "bridge" to the cultural dialogue between the republics".
 
 Head of the delegation, the representative of the RT CCI Elena Agzamova promised that returning to Tatarstan, members of the group will publish a book entitled "Travel Notes on Abkhazia".
 
 At the same time, Deputy Minister of Agriculture of the Republic of Abkhazia Vladimir Daurov noted that cooperation with Tatarstan has made a confident step forward: "After the meeting, the presidents of Tatarstan and Abkhazia have developed trade and economic relations between the two republics. It was decided to implement the project of construction of a hothouse economy on the territory of Abkhazia, which is currently nearing completion". Daurov expressed hope that this project will become the basis for strengthening cooperation between Tatarstan and Abkhazia.
 
According to the specialist of the press service of the RA Chamber of Commerce Elana Tsushba, guests from Tatarstan will stay in Abkhazia until September 30. There are planned meetings with representatives of ministries and state structures of Abkhazia and excursions on major Abkhazian companies during the visit.
