On an official visit of the Abkhaz delegation taking place in the Republic of Srpska.
Sukhum. 16 March. Apsnypress. The official meeting of the delegation of the Republic of Abkhazia with President of the Republic of Srpska, Mr. Milorad Dodik, was held in the capital of the Republic of Srpska - Banja Luka. The Abkhaz delegation was headed by President of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Republic of Abkhazia Gennady Gagulia. It also includes: Minister of Economy of Abkhazia Adgur Ardzinba, Deputy Minister Zaur Gulia, Deputy Minister for Resorts and Tourism of the Republic of Abkhazia Astamyr Akhba, Vice President of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Republic of Tamil Mamtskhulava, representatives of business circles of Abkhazia. The press office of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Republic of Abkhazia reported.
According to the report, priority was given to meeting in the sphere of economy and tourism, as well as issues of mutual long-term cooperation between the two republics and expansion of existing relations.
Within the framework of the visit, there was held an official meeting of the Abkhaz delegation with Minister for Trade and Tourism of the Republic of Srpska, Mr. Glukhakovich, and Minister of Economy and Regional Development Mr. Klokich.
In addition, within the framework of the previously signed Agreement on bilateral cooperation between the chambers of the Republic of Abkhazia and Republic of Srpska and after the return visit of the delegation from the Republic of Srpska to Abkhazia in the fall of 2017, there was held an official meeting of the Abkhaz delegation with colleagues at the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Republic of Srpska. The guests were received by President of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Mr. Borko Durich. At the meeting, they discussed issues of further interaction between the chambers and organization of joint projects. The Abkhaz delegation was shown a film about the history and existing economic potential of the republic, the host party answered all the questions of interest.
The official visit of the Abkhaz delegation will last until March 17.
