The Abkhaz physicians will be organized certification courses

The organization of certification for Abkhaz physicians was discussed at a working meeting in the Ministry of Healthcare of Abkhazia.

The Ministry of Health of Abkhazia held a working meeting of the Minister of Health Andzor Goov with the Vice-Rector for Development and Innovation of the Russian Medical Academy of Continuing Professional Education, Dmitry Sychev. The meeting discussed the organization of certification courses for Abkhaz physicians.
 
 According Andzor Goov, the Ministry of Health of Abkhazia made a proposal to the Russian Ministry of Health to conduct in Abkhazia certification courses. "Russian Ministry of Health agreed on this issue with the Russian Academy of Continuing Professional Education. To develop a schedule and procedure for certification courses came Vice-Rector for Development and Innovation of the Medical Academy of Continuing Professional Education, Doctor of Medical Sciences, Professor, Corresponding Member of the Russian Academy of Sciences Dmitry Sychev" - said Goov.
 
 As the minister explained, it is a professional development and certification of physicians in 5 specialties: Health Organization, surgery, internal medicine, pediatrics, obstetrics and gynecology. "There is a law" On Healthcare of RA ", providing the passage of certification every 5 years. The certification courses will be held in accordance with this law. We are ready to start in March " - said Goov.
 
 In turn, Dmitry Sychev informed that the Russian Medical Academy of Continuing Professional Education has extensive experience in the training of doctors in the system of additional vocational training. "Since 2016, our Academy has become the largest in the Russian Federation, through the addition of four branches. Teachers who have extensive experience in training physicians in all specialties, ready to travel to Abkhazia to lecture certification courses", - said Sychev.
 
 According to the vice-rector of the Russian Academy training physicians will be carried out in stages: first, remotely, then internally, with a mandatory certification and testing. "Evaluation results will be known by the Ministry of Health of Abkhazia", ​​- said Sychev.
 
At the same time Vice-Rector said that he had been in the Republican hospital and talked with the chief physician. "On the basis of the Republic of Belarus it is quite possible to carry out a remote part of the training, which is carried out through information technology. That is, in the form of electronic educational modules and webinars ", - said Sychev. And added: "It is envisaged that our professors and associate professors will participate in formal care conferences, and consultations. On the one hand, it will be a learning element for Abkhazian doctors, on the other - help in the implementation of therapeutic and diagnostic activities".
