The annual report on the work of international organizations is presented to President of Abkhazia

President of the Republic of Abkhazia Raul Khajimba met with UN Resident Coordinator, UNDP Resident Representative Niels Scott.

 Sukhum. December 1st. Apsnypress. At the meeting with President of Abkhazia Raul Khajimba, UN Resident Coordinator, UNDP Resident Representative Nils Scott presented a report on the work done in Abkhazia for the year. The official website of the Head of State reported. 
  
 "This report contains information on the activities of all international organizations in Abkhazia. We hope that our activities help the people of the republic, "- said Nils Scott.
 
 Scott said that the main spheres of activity of international organizations in the country are agriculture, ecology, and health. In 2017 the list of cases was supplemented by the fight against agricultural pests, in particular, the marble bug.
 
 At the same time, President stressed that the possibility of cooperation with international organizations is important for the Republic of Abkhazia, and in particular, cooperation in combating agricultural pests that have caused great damage to agriculture. "The activities aimed at combating the pest including by international organizations, have brought certain results but they are not enough. It is not necessary to say that the situation has changed radically. Only joint efforts can change the state of things for the better, " - said the Head of State. The
 
Raul Khajimba noted that there are positive results of cooperation in other areas of joint work, but more success could be achieved if the international community did not act from the position of so-called "territorial integrity".
