The Abkhaz and Russian parties were represented at the meeting by Prime Minister of the Republic of Abkhazia Valery Bganba and Deputy Minister for Affairs of the North Caucasus of the Russian Federation Igor Koshin.
Sukhum. June 10. Apsnypress. A working meeting of representatives of the Ministry on the affairs of the North Caucasus,the Treasury of the Russian Federation and the Bank of Russia with Abkhaz colleagues was held at the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Abkhazia.
The Abkhaz and Russian sides were represented at the meeting by Prime Minister of the Republic of Abkhazia Valery Bganba and Deputy Minister of the Russian Federation for the Affairs of the North Caucasus, Igor Koshin.
Head of the Government of Abkhazia welcomed the participants of the meeting and outlined the main issues needed to be resolved within the framework of the meetings: “We will have to work together on a subprogram on social and economic development of the republic and consider the projects that we have proposed for inclusion in the future subprogram. In addition, there are some issues of execution of the protocol of the 17th meeting of the Intergovernmental Commission. For fruitful work in the next two days, I propose to divide the participants of our today's meeting into sectors corresponding to their tasks. "
In turn, Igor Koshin agreed with the plans of the working groups: “The goal of our arrival is that every Abkhaz resident will feel changes in the quality of life. This will be the main result of our dialogue. ”
The working groups will have to monitor the targeted use of the additional Russian financial assistance provided in 2018 through the Ministry of Finance of Abkhazia and the National Bank. Representatives of relevant Abkhaz departments with their Russian colleagues will discuss the implementation of the Investment Program for 2017-2019, which provides the implementation of 59 events with a total funding of 1 billion 681 million rubles, will analyze the agenda of the next upcoming meeting of the Intergovernmental Commission on Socio-Economic Cooperation between the Russian Federation and the Republic of Abkhazia.
Sector working groups will carry out their tasks within three working days.
