Sukhum. July 17. Apsnypress. Prime Minister of Abkhazia Alexander Ankvab held a meeting with Minister of Health Tamaz Tsakhnakiya and chief sanitary doctors of the republic and a number of districts Lyudmila Skorik, Inga Chanba and Alla Belyaeva, at which the draft "Recommendations for organizing the work of recreation facilities in case of opening borders for tourists while the risk of the spread of COVID-19 remains." The press service of the RA Cabinet of Ministers reported.
“The recommendation rules must be enforceable in our environment. At the same time, elementary sanitary rules must be observed at recreation facilities, " Alexander Ankvab believes.
He recalled that one of these days colleagues from the Ministry of Health of Russia and Rospotrebnadzor will arrive in Abkhazia to get acquainted with the epidemiological situation in the republic.
Alexander Ankvab reminded the meeting participants that after signing the Recommendations will be transferred to the Ministry of Tourism of Abkhazia for subsequent distribution of the document to recreation facilities for the necessary organizational measures.
In turn, Tamaz Tsakhnakiya informed Prime Minister about the conversation with Acting Minister of Health of Russia (First Deputy Minister) Igor Kagramanyan and Minister of Health of the Krasnodar Territory Yevgeny Filippov for providing practical assistance to the Ministry of Health of Abkhazia.
According to Tsakhnakiya, Russian colleagues, if necessary, intend to provide support with specialists, drugs, supplies and develop routing of possible patients with covid.
The head of government once again warned the minister and chief sanitary doctors about the need for constant monitoring of situation in the republic.
