"The liberation of Gagra was the first attempt, which inspired people. After that we all went to victory. On this day we remember those who gave their lives for the freedom of Abkhazia. We remember each of them", - said Head of the Administration of Gagra district Zaur Bganba.
Commander of the Order of Leon Svetlana Sklyarevskaya noted that in this day everyone is in a sense of joy and grief at the same time. "We all cheered when heard that they liberated Gagra. Feeling of pride overwhelmed our hearts", - said the veteran.
