The Conference of students and pupils "foreign language in professional formation of future specialists" was held in Sukhum

In order to promote independent research works of students as well as search and support of young talents, was held the annual scientific conference of students and pupils.
Sukhum. April 29. Apsnypress. ASU students of different faculties and pupils of schools read scientific articles in English, Spanish, German and French, according to the Committee on Youth Affairs and Sports of the administration.
"Possession of a foreign language - is an essential feature class specialties in any field. Our conference allows students to combine in their speech specialized knowledge and foreign languages, and pupils receive an excellent opportunity to practice a foreign language and gain experience they need in the future", - said opening the meeting the head of department of foreign languages of ASU, Elpida Maklakova.
At the end of the conference, the jury which consisted of the head of department of external relations and investment of the RA Chamber of Commerce I. Gabunia, lecturer of the Department of English and German of ASU E. Anshba, lecturer of the Department of IR of ASU A. Dadyan, the senior consultants of the Protocol Office of the Presidential Administration S. Kvadzba and R. Mirzoyan, determine the best of 15 presented reports.
The first place was shared by Victoria Malania (4th year, Department of History), a report in Spanish, "Secrets of Successful diplomacy" and Gunda Basariya (1st year, Faculty of Economics) with a report in English, "The problems of poverty in Abkhazia".
Second place - Olga Dzhonua (5th year, History Department) report in Spanish, "Women presidents in Latin America". Third - Lana Agrba and Christina Takmazyan (3 year, faculty SCS) with a report in Spanish "The development of wine tourism in Abkhazia and Spain".
Audience prize was awarded 4th year student of the Faculty of History Said Kakalia for the report in Spanish - "The Birth of cinema".
The youngest participant, eleven years old Edgar Gvazava, made a presentation in French "Little Nicholas" and was awarded a special prize of the jury.
The prize from the Department of Foreign Languages was received by 3rd year student of the Faculty of Philology of ASU Marta Ketiya for a successful defense of the course work "Text-forming functions of the pronoun ES in modern German language".
All participants of the conference were awarded with diplomas, the winners with diplomas and prize of the committee - excursion to one of the historical parts of Abkhazia.
Organizers of the event: the Committee on Youth Affairs and Sports of the General Administration of Sukhum and Department of Foreign Languages of ASU.
