The Council of Federation established a parliamentary group to support the "Goodwill Ambassadors of Abkhazia"

In the near future the projects of "Goodwill Ambassadors" will be discussed within the framework of the work of parliamentary group.

In Moscow, at the Federation Council, there was held a press conference dedicated to creation of a parliamentary group to support the charity movement "Goodwill Ambassadors of Abkhazia", ​​which is engaged in the implementation of humanitarian projects on the territory of the republic .
   
 Deputy Chairman of the Federation Council Yury Vorobyev expressed support for the charitable movement and called on fellow senators to support the humanitarian projects of the "Goodwill Ambassadors."

 "I support the movement of goodwill ambassadors of Abkhazia and propose to work out concrete projects for further implementation. We will turn to senators, public figures and patrons of Russia to support these projects," - Vorobyev said.

 Senator Igor Morozov stated the fact of creating a parliamentary group is an important step for the development of the charity movement "Goodwill Ambassadors": "I really hope for our active joint cooperation. Abkhazia is our friendly and brotherly state. We really appreciate it."
  
 For our part, Deputy Foreign Minister of Abkhazia Kan Taniya thanked the senators for supporting Abkhazia. "Russia has always been together with Abkhazia, and we really appreciate it. Our country is very sensitive to our really fraternal relations. One of the goals of our charity movement is to strengthen ties with Russia, " - Taniya said.

 At the same time, the Goodwill Ambassador of Abkhazia, director of the "Mountainous Abkhazia" foundation Tengiz Tarba spoke about the prospect of carrying out expeditions to mountains of Abkhazia in order to search for remains of the dead soldiers of the Second World War. 

 Expeditions will be supported by the Russian Geographical Society, with which the "Mountainous Abkhazia" Foundation recently signed an agreement on cooperation.

 In the near future, the projects of "Goodwill Ambassadors" will be discussed within the framework of the work of a parliamentary group.
