The delegation of the Government of Abkhazia took part in the VI International Legal Forum

The VI International Legal Forum was held in St. Petersburg.

Sukhum. May 24. Apsnypress. The ILF was attended by the government delegation of the Republic of Abkhazia, Justice Minister Marina Pilia, deputy chairman of the State Standard of the Republic of Abkhaziia Natalya Kvaratskhelia, Chief of Staff of the RA Cabinet of Minister Diana Pilia.
 
  The program of Forum 2016 included the plenary session "The credibility of the law - a way to solve global crises" in which Medvedev D.A. made a presentation.
 
   On May 19, 2016 at the St. Petersburg International Legal Forum was held a round table "Development of institutional environment of intellectual property", chaired by the head of Rospatent Gregory Ivliev.
 
 The main issues that were discussed in the framework of this discussion:
 - Improvement of legislation in the field of intellectual property;
 - The development of electronic forms of public service provision in the field of intellectual property;
 - Stimulating the circulation of rights to intellectual activity results;
 - Intellectual property insurance;
 - Support of foreign patenting;
 - The creation of patent landscapes;
 - Educational programs in the field of intellectual property.
 
 In her report, Natalia Kvaratskhelia thanked the government for the opportunity to participate in the international discussion platform dedicated to the protection of intellectual property, noted the importance of the problem of the formation and implementation of the state policy in this sphere. Kvaratskhelia told about the work of the State Standard of the Republic of Abkhazia on the improvement of the institutional environment, which will contribute to the creation, implementation and ensure proper protection of intellectual activity and means of individualization.
