The delegation of the Republic of Abkhazia attended the farewell ceremony for the Head of the Donetsk People's Republic Alexander Zakharchenko

Head DNR Alexander Zakharchenko was killed in the explosion on August 31 in Donetsk.

Apsnypress. The delegation of the Republic of Abkhazia, led by Deputy Prime Minister of Abkhazia Astamur Ketsba, attended the farewell ceremony with the Head of the Donetsk People's Republic Alexander Zakharchenko which took place in the building of the Donetsk State Academic Opera and Ballet Theater of Solovyanenko, it lasted more than four hours. 

 Over 100 thousand people took part in the farewell ceremony. Deputy Prime Minister of RA Astamur Ketsba read out his condolences to the interim head of the DPR Dmitry Trapeznikov from the Head of the Government of Abkhazia Gennady Gagulia.
 
  The address of condolence, in particular, said: "I express to you and to all the people of the Donetsk People's Republic sympathy, deep condolences and words of support, in connection with the tragic death of Alexander Vladimirovich Zakharchenko. A true patriot of his homeland passed away. Alexander Vladimirovich was a bold and resolute person who devoted his life to serving the Motherland. The Republic of Abkhazia at this difficult time grieves along with the citizens of the Donetsk People's Republic. "
 
 Also, the delegation of the Republic of Abkhazia laid flowers to the site of death of Head of the People's Donetsk Republic Alexander Zakharchenko.
