The festive opening ceremony of the World Football Cup ConIFA was held in the capital

The championship's games start on May 29. 12 teams take part in the tournament.

Sukhum. May 28. Apsnypress. Lana Tsvizhba. The solemn opening ceremony of the second World Football Cup among national teams outside the FIFA, held by ConIFA was held in the capital of Abkhazia.
 
 Both bleachers of the capital's stadium "Dynamo" with a capacity of 4200 people were filled with spectators.
 
 "Abkhazia is often called the unexplored jewel of the world, so ConIFA proud to have a chance to show the world the beauty of Abkhazia, its beautiful nature and the main wealth of the country - people. Our organization is doing its best to introduce the world to the culture and traditions of the country. To do this more than 100 journalists arrived in Abkhazia. I thank the President, the Government and people of the Republic for such a large-scale organization of the event", - the president of ConIFa Per Anders Blind.
 
 He noted: "ConIFA wants to prove to the world that despite the fact that we all have different origins, history, traditions and culture, we can all get together and show the world that we know how to respect each other and build bridges of friendship that unite people". ConIFA President expressed his confidence that this championship will be the best and become a role model for all future championships.
 
 "We have witnessed a remarkable event. Abkhazia responsibly prepared for the championship, stadiums, roads cited in order, the national team trained actively to show a good result.
 
 Abkhazia is a country with a rich culture, ancient history and a huge heart. Our sou is our people, who built an independent state. We are  a bright and original part of the great family of nations. And no one can isolate us from the international dialogue", said President Raul Khadjimba in the completion of the opening ceremony of the Championship.
 
 The President said: "It is important for world to know that Abkhazia is open, hospitable, peace-loving, dynamically developing state.
 
 Abkhazia likes good guests. And we know that our guests, everyone who has ever been here, leaves a part of Apsny in his heart forever".
 
 Raul Khadjimba wished everyone peace, happiness and prosperity. "Let the sports competitions of the Championship be spectacular, the fight fair and victory bright", - the head of state.
 
 The World Football Cup by ConIFA version was declared open.
 
 The colorful opening ceremony ended with fireworks.
