The first conference hall of simultaneous interpretation is opened in Sukhum

This makes it possible to hold international meetings using the state language at the highest technical level on any international platform.

The NGO "Alasha" with the assistance of the Office of the Plenipotentiary Representative of the President of the Republic of Abkhazia for Relations with International Organizations on Humanitarian Issues and with the financial support of the Council of Europe in Abkhazia for the first time opened a conference room for simultaneous interpretation using Abkhaz, Russian, English and other languages. The assistant to the plenipotentiary representative of the RA President Maka Tsugba informed.

 The report notes that the hall, which is located in the Republican Library of I. Papaskir, is equipped with the latest technology for simultaneous interpretation. All accessories: tables, microphones, headphones, racks, cabins, were delivered from France, manufactured and assembled by local manufacturers.

 In addition, throughout the year the best students of the Department of International Relations of the Abkhaz State University ​​were trained in Budapest to become synchronists with perfect knowledge of Abkhaz, Russian and English languages.

 All this makes it possible for the first time to hold international meetings using the state language at the highest technical level on any international platform.
