The international movement "PROAbkhazia" was presented

The International Conference "10 Years of Recognition: Results and Prospects" is being held in Sukhum.

Sukhum. 22 August. Apsnypress. Within the framework of the International Conference "10 Years of Recognition: Results and Prospects", there was held a presentation of the international movement PROAbkhazia, an informal public association that facilitates the dissemination of objective information about the Republic of Abkhazia. The presentation was held at the Russian State Drama Theater named after F.A. Iskander. 

 The Council of Young Diplomats of the Foreign Ministry of Abkhazia was the initiator of the creation of an informal youth social movement. The PROAbkhazia movement is aimed at disseminating objective information about Abkhazia, popularizing the republic among representatives of other countries and peoples, acquaintance with its natural and cultural diversity.
 
 At the presentation, representatives of the Council of Young Diplomats Inar Ladariya, Victoriya Malaniya and Milana Abshilava spoke about the idea of ​​creating the movement, its goals and prospects: "The time when Abkhazia must make itself known has come. We are ready to open up to the world and show that we are a nation that fits into a common palette of international diversity and occupies a bright niche in the history of mankind. " 

 At the same time, Inar Ladariya stressed: "Our appeal is addressed primarily to those who are not indifferent to the fate of the younger generation of Abkhazians, in whatever country they live, as well as to all who cherish our Motherland-the Republic of Abkhazia. We must realize that it will be very difficult for us to preserve our national identity, the rich cultural heritage of Abkhazia alone. Only by joining forces we will be able to successfully move forward and confidently lead the country into a worthy future. " 

 According to the organizers, the priority activities of the youth movement "PROAbkhazia" are: popularization and preservation of the historical and cultural heritage of the Republic of Abkhazia; popularization and promotion of the tourist potential of the Republic of Abkhazia; counteraction to information wars that foment conflict between peoples; assistance in expanding international relations and contacts of the Republic of Abkhazia; dissemination of objective information about the Republic of Abkhazia. The movement intends to involve the tools of public diplomacy with the involvement of the media, public figures, as well as representatives of the intelligentsia, scientific and intellectual community. 

 At the end of the presentation there was presented a thematic video.
  
The presentation ended with the performance of "Shirokolobyi" by the same title from the novel "Sandro from Chegem" by Fazil Iskander.
