The International scientific-practical conference "Cultural diversity of architectural monuments of Abkhazia and the effects of external factors" has finished its work in Sukhum

Following the conference, there was a briefing, where participants of the event shared their impressions with journalists.

Sukhum. April 23. Apsnypress. Irena Dzhopua. The minister of culture and preservation of historical and cultural heritage Elvira Arsaliyev noted that this event is being held for the first time, but from now on such meetings will be scheduled annually.
 
 "Interesting discussions, reports, offers all of them led us to the fact that we have laid a tradition, and we will meet annually. The format can be changed, it can be conferences, round tables, but we have once again convinced ourselves that there are the same problems everywhere. Protection of monuments is a growing problem everywhere", - said Arsaliya.
 
 The benefits of the conference in terms of exchange of experience, noted the deputy director of the Department of State Protection of Cultural Heritage of the Russian Federation Alexander Rabotkevich. "I hope that the ideas, suggestions, opinions that were voiced at the conference will be useful for colleagues from Abkhazia. It is an important stage  in the field of historical and cultural heritage between Russia and Abkhazia", - he said.
 
 Head of the Department of Cultural Heritage of Moscow Alexey Emelyanov, in turn, noted that the conference  announced the practical aspects of cooperation between the parties in terms of regulations, improvement of legislation, control activities. "And, of course, in areas such as cultural heritage it is very important to popularize monuments", - Emelyanov said.
 
  It will be organized a tour of the sights of Abkhazia within the conference.
 
   The International scientific-practical conference "Cultural diversity of architectural monuments of Abkhazia and the effects of external factors" during the cultural season of "Russia-Abkhazia" was held in Sukhum from 21 to 22 April.
