The Labor Code of Abkhazia will come into force from the New Year

The Labor Code of the Republic of Abkhazia was adopted at the session of the National Assembly of Parliament of Abkhazia.

Sukhum. September 21. Apsnypress. Elena Poluyan. The Chairman of the Committee on Social Policy, Labour and Health Apollo Gurgulia introduced a bill in the third final reading. At the same time, he stressed that a working group has dealt with the document over 2.5 years. "Finally, the work has been completed", - said Gurgulia.
 
 For his part, representative of the President in Parliament Dmitry Shamba supported the bill. "The need for a modern Labor Code is long overdue. All comments are taken into account ", - he said.
 
 The bill was adopted unanimously.
 
Also the session of the National Assembly of Parliament of the Republic of Abkhazia adopted the Law "On introduction the RA Labor Code". The document envisages to introduce a Code On January 1, 2017 and determines that the regulation of issues related to the order destination, calculation and payment of state social insurance of employees, as well as the determination of the amount of benefits under the state insurance temporarily until the enactment of legislation are carried out by the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Abkhazia.
