The leadership of the State Standard of Abkhazia held a series of meetings in Moscow

The main topic of the meeting with the head of Rospatent was the possibility of legal protection of trademarks of Abkhazian wines, tangerines and adzhika.

The delegation of the State Committee on Standards, Consumer and Technical Supervision of the Republic of Abkhazia, headed by chairman Eric Rshtuni held several meetings with the heads of the Federal Service for Intellectual Property (Rospatent) Gregory Ivliev, the Federal Service for Ecological, Technological and Nuclear Supervision (Rostekhnadzor) Alexey Aleshin, the Federal accreditation service (Rosakkreditatsiya) Savva Shipov.
 
 The main topic of the meeting with the head of Rospatent was the possibility of legal protection of trademarks of Abkhaz wines,  tangerines and adzhika. The parties discussed the possibility of legal protection of brands, related also to the tourist industry. Representatives of agencies exchanged views on the current working moments.
 
 During the meeting with the head of Rostekhnadzor Aleshin they discussed the planned activities for the exchange of experience in improving the legal and regulatory framework for the control and surveillance activities at electric power facilities, and the ability to assist the State Committee on Standards, Consumer and Technical Supervision of the Republic of Abkhazia in the organization of work on training and certification of experts, training and examination of workers, supervised by Gosstandart of the Republic of Abkhazia. Following the Memorandum between the Federal Service for Ecological, Technological and Nuclear Supervision and the State Committee on Standards, Consumer and Technical Supervision of the Republic of Abkhazia "Cooperation in the industrial safety regulatory region", signed on October 16, 2015, it was signed the plan "joint activities of the Federal Service for Ecological , technological and Nuclear Supervision and the State Committee on standards, consumer and technical Supervision of the Republic of Abkhazia in 2016-2017"
 
Following the meeting, held in the Federal Service for accreditation, there were reached agreements on the date and place of the signing of the Agreement between the Government of the Russian Federation and the Government of the Republic of Abkhazia on accreditation in national accreditation system of the Russian Federation and Republic of Abkhazia.
