The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Abkhazia and Association "Abkhazia-Europe" have signed an agreement

The signing ceremony has been held at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Abkhazia.

Opening the meeting, Foreign Minister Vyacheslav Chirikba thanked for their help in the creation of the founder of the International Association of diplomatic Observatory Vito Grittani and noted that the signing of the agreement will be a new stage in the development of relations between our countries.

«We have a long tradition contacts with your wonderful country. Starting from the Roman Empire and the Genoese. During the time that I have been working in the Foreign Ministry, I have had many contacts with Italian colleagues, friends and partners. We have always been comfortably working with our Italian friends. We have now reached a new stage in our communication and can mention the signing of the Agreement between the Foreign Ministry of our country and the association "Europe-Abkhazia". I am sure that our relationship has a good future. We will build a "bridge" between Abkhazia and Italy ", - said Chirikba.

In turn Vito Grittani said that he will do his best to strengthen relations between our countries. "Through the association "Europe-Abkhazia" and other forces we will do everything to make the bridge between Abkhazia and Italy stay strong", - said Grittani.

"We are the first association registered in Europe with the Abkhaz passports. The aim of our association is popularization of Abkhazia, its history and culture. Thank you, Mr. Grittani, for this opportunity, we will continue to try to tell the whole world about our country", - said Dmitry Kortava, General Secretary of the Association.

Association "Abkhazia-Europe" was established in Italy in September, last year. Its founders are: six citizens of Abkhazia and four citizens of Italy.
