The Permanent Representation of the Republic of Abkhazia in Germany discussed the prospects of overcoming the full international isolation of Abkhazia.

The Permanent Mission of the Republic of Abkhazia in the Federal Republic of Germany held a round table at which the deputy and the staff of the German Bundestag, representatives of the Ministry of Agriculture and the German Foundation BergHOFF, political scientists and experts on the Caucasus, as well as representatives of Abkhazian diaspora in Berlin discussed the prospects of overcoming the full international isolation of Abkhazia. The Permanent Representation of the Republic of Abkhazia in Germany reported.
 
 As the authorized representative of the Republic of Abkhazia in Germany Hibla Amichba, the event was organized by the Permanent Mission of Abkhazia. "In our view, this is very important - to be heard by German politicians and experts. For the first time the round table was attended by member of the Bundestag. The main round table focus was on the issues of a comprehensive international isolation of Abkhazia and its citizens, as well as the problems caused by it: Visas, participation in educational projects, international exhibitions, festivals, access to health care, etc. Unfortunately, the fact remains that even the deputies of the Parliament of Abkhazia, in view of the unsolved problems can not go to a scheduled meetings with their German colleagues. The participants of the meeting characterized Abkhazia as a country with great history, considerable potential and interesting in every way for Europeans", - said Hibla Amichba.
 
According to Amichba, roundtable participants discussed in detail the traditional centuries-old ties of Europe and Abkhazia, common core values, humanitarian issues, realities and prospects of solving problems. The need for the continuation of contacts, meetings at the level of experts, academics, MPs, both in Germany and in Abkhazia.
