To the summing up the results of the quarterly tax and customs duties and discussion of challenges to improve the efficiency of tax and customs administration was devoted the meeting chaired by the President Raul Khadjimba.
Sukhum. April 7th. Apsnypress. The President expressed his dissatisfaction with the inadequate and inconsistent of the real possibilities of growth in customs and tax payments. "The situation we have must be radically changed. Demand from responsible persons will be tough", - said the President.
The meeting discussed the structure and personnel optimization of tax and customs authorities, reducing the costs of administration, the fight against corruption and other abuse of power in these areas.
Khadjimba instructed the Prime Minister in a week's time to prepare and submit proposals for measures to ensure a significant increase in revenues from taxes and customs duties, and optimization of the relevant authorities. "We are obliged to fulfill our duties", - said the President.
The meeting was attended by the Prime Minister Artur Mikvabiya, Head of the Presidential Administration Astamur Taniya, Deputy Head of the Presidential Administration Astamur Appba and the heads of relevant ministries and departments.
