The President Raul Khadjimba handed Hibla Gerzmava Order "Akhdz-Apsha" I degree. People's Artist has become the first Abkhaz woman awarded the medal.
RA President Raul Khadjimba awarded People's Artist of Russia and Abkhazia Hibla Gerzmava Order "Akhdz-Apsha" I degree for her outstanding achievements in the field of art and culture and international recognition.
"This highest state award today for the first time gets the Abkhaz woman. I wish you a long and great success. Your achievements immensely pleased with all of us, we are proud of you", - said in his congratulatory speech the President.
"For me, this is a great honor", - said in response Hibla Gerzmava.
According to the singer, she arrived in Abkhazia specifically for one day for the Order. Ahead the People's Artist has intense creative schedule.
"My life is planned for many years ahead . Tomorrow I'll fly to Moscow, then to Vienna", - replied to the question about nearest future plans Gerzmava.
