The regular congress of FNUA

Sukhum.March 31st. Apsnypress. The congress is attended by President of Abkhazia Khadjimba, the vice-president Vitaliy Gabniya and the First Deputy Prime Minister Shamil Adzynba, MPs, heads of ministries and departments, district administrations. 

Co-Chairman of RPP Daur Arshba, talking about the party history, said that FNUA was created after the election of the President of RA in 2004. "The initiators of the OPD motivated by the need to defend the idea of ​​the principles and ideological platform of the national liberation movement, formed the basis of the multifaceted activities of the founder of the modern independent Abkhaz state - Vladislav Ardzinba. In November 2006, the movement FNUA was transformed into a republican political party "Forum of National Unity of Abkhazia", - said Arshba. 

The speaker outlined the tasks that had to deal with the party for the past ten years. In general, "they were motivated by the protection of the sovereignty of Abkhazia. In particular, we have resisted attempts to create the International Rail consortium, in which strategic industry was derived from the property of Abkhazia", - said the co-chairman of the party. 

RPP FNUA played a key role in preventing the conversion overnight Gal district residents who have Georgian citizenship to citizens of Abkhazia and the recognition of the illegal mass certification in the eastern regions of the country. 

Daur Arshba believes that "the policy of the former leadership of the country, of course, led to the spread of the jurisdiction of Georgia on the territory of Abkhazia". He praised the work of the former Security Council Secretary Stanislav Lakoba. 

"The new government determines the status of residents of Gal district in accordance with the Law "On Citizenship" and international legal standards that will makek them enable to live in conditions of safety and respect for the rights", - said Arshba. 

As the co-chairman of the party, actions of FNUA meet the expectations of the wider community and so on early presidential elections in 2014 of the leader of  FNUA, as approved by the Coordinating Council of parties and public organizations, got decent support in the community.  

Passing congress is the first congress of the RPP after the events of May 2014. These events were followed by presidential elections in Abkhazia which gave according to Arshba "additional impetus to changes in all spheres of public life".  

The main factor in this process was the resignation of the President, confirmed by a special statement. The reason for returning to this theme was stormy information activities launched by the PP "Amtsakhara". And its attempts to convince the public that the "change of power is something like a coup d'etat".

"Developing this baseless thesis, it seeks to justify its revenge plans. At the same time, our opponents deliberately silent about the fact that the resignation of the former leadership of the country is due to the requirements of many thousands of multi-day national gathering, which confirmed the reality of the position of the RA Constitution that "the bearer of sovereignty and the only source of power in the Republic of Abkhazia is its people - the citizens of the Republic of Abkhazia", - said in his speech Daur Arshba. 

He stressed that today the party "Amtsakhara" by opening an information war against the new government, in order to revenge, made a bid for outright lies. Even such a crucial problems as the development and signing of the alliance and strategic partnership between Russia and Abkhazia, the opponents do not stop use for speculative purposes, presenting the public misinformation that supposedly  the President of Abkhazia invisibly signed a contract with the defeatist leadership of the Russian Federation, and the very broad discussion of the document in Parliament and in society as a simulation of discussion. 

Arshba said that "meetings with the public representatives" of Amtsakhara "spreading false information that though the new authorities pursue their political opponents, to purge unwanted in state institutions, etc". Co-Chair of FNUA cited data, which states that that the Ministry of Interior, Ministry of Defense, Ministry of Emergency Situations, Internal Revenue Service, the Ministry of Finance, the Prosecutor's Office, management positions are occupied by the previous government. A similar situation and in areas: Tkuarchal - 11 heads of villages, only 4 -new. Ochamchira - 28 - 9 new, Sukhum - almost all stayed in their places, Gudauta district from 22 heads of villages have changed only one, Gagra district - almost all in their original locations. The education system in three areas - the new heads of departments and offices. Throughout the country, only one new director of school is appointed. 

"And against the background of this statistic, we offer you, including our opponents, to revisit the situation of 2004-2005, when the purge on the basis was like: no one of the opponents should to stay", - reminded Daur Arshba.
