The joint Abkhaz-Russian working group on the construction of a new penitentiary institution will be formed.
Sukhum. March 3. Apsnypress. During the meeting, Minister of Internal Affairs of RA Leonid Dzapshba with Deputy Justice Minister Alu Alkhanov discussed issues of legal regulation in the field of construction and material and technical equipment of specialized agencies, as well as the financial component of the project.
It will also form a joint Abkhaz-Russian working group on the construction of a new prison designed for 500 seats, the development of land allocated by the Government of Abkhazia under this building and related infrastructure.
In March of this year, it is expected to receive members of the working group of the Russian side in Abkhazia.
The meeting was held within the framework of an agreement on assistance from Russia in the construction of the prison in Abkhazia reached in the meeting of the Presidents of Abkhazia and Russia on February 18, 2016
