The Embassy of the Syrian Arab Republic in the Russian Federation held a meeting of Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Abkhazia Daur Kove and Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of the Syrian Arab Republic in Russia Riad Haddad. Foreign Ministry of Abkhazia reported.
They discussed the current situation in the Syrian Arab Republic and the prospects for establishing cooperation of SAR and the Republic of Abkhazia.
Daur Kove expressed support for efforts of the legitimate government of Syria in the fight against international terrorism. He stressed the important role played by the Russian Federation in resolving the situation in Syria.
After the meeting, Daur Kove presented Mr. Riad Haddad commemorative gift and invited to visit the Republic of Abkhazia at any time convenient to him.
