The State Investment Agency of Abkhazia is represented at the Global Challenges Summit

Representatives of the State Investment Agency participate in the Global Challenges Summit 2018 in Astana.

Sukhum. 18 May. Apsnypress. Deputy Director of the State Investment Agency Simon Agrba and Chief Specialist Larisa Ashuba take part in the work of the Astana Economic Forum - Global Challenges Summit 2018, which takes place from May 17 to 19, 2018 in Kazakhstan.

 The program of the forum is based on such problems as economic growth and resource stability, digitalization and urbanization, longevity and the financial revolution, global security and cultural change. 450 speakers from 24 countries plan to speak at the eleventh Astana Economic Forum, among them the ex-President of France François Hollande, the eighth UN Secretary General and the chairman of the International Olympic Committee on Ethics Ban Ki-moon, the vice-premier, co-founder of Apple Computer Steve Wozniak, the founder of Shazam Chris Barton, physicist, co-author of string theory and popularizer of science Mitio Kaku, former chairman of Goldman Sachs Jim O'Neil, head of Yandex Arkady Volozh and others.

 The Republic of Abkhazia was officially presented on this prestigious site for the first time, within the framework of the agency's strategy to expand the geography of foreign economic cooperation and to strengthen the positive business image of our country abroad.
