 For his part, UN Resident Coordinator Niels Scott thanked the Government for their support in the construction of one of the nine agricultural fairs in the country and showed photos of the construction work at the facilities. "At the moment there are three programs of United Nations on the territory of Abkhazia. It is assumed that the fourth program "UN Women" will soon operate with your support", - Scott said.
 
 According to Scott Nilsen, UN organization works in several areas, such as education, health, as well as contribute to the economic development of the country.
 
Prime Minister said: "You gave the example of the successful implementation of the project on the lines of Agriculture. The residents of our villages will have the opportunity to sell products to consumers in a comfortable environment. We were in favor of the opening the office "UN Women" and understand the importance of this project ", - said the head of government.
 
Prime minister also explained the UN coordinator question related to the closure of the checkpoint Nabakiya. "The decision is not made spontaneously, we were preparing for it. In order to close this point, we have a lot of work carried out, was restored the roadway, about 30 kilometers. More than 150 million rubles were allocated from the budget for these works. Also, we purchased the appropriate transportation of people to the check points. At the same time, the main crossing point will have additional inspection booths ", - informed Beslan Bartsits.
 
Niels Scott said that no doubt that the security issues are important for Abkhazia. "Our application is designed to draw attention to the possible negative consequences for the people living in this territory. One of the key points of a UN mandate is the concern for people who may be left out of the attention ", - summed up Scott.
