This year Abkhazia was visited by about 1.4 million tourists

Thus, according to the Ministry of Tourism, the last 2 years was a record for the entire post-Soviet period. This year Abkhazia was visited  by 3-1.4 million people. At the same time, Gartskiya noted that the final results of the holiday season will be announced later, as the weather in October is good and it gives hope for its continuation, at least for a month.

According to Gartskiya , it is expected that this year's state budget will be replenished by tax deductions from the resort areas by 400 million rubles, while last year the figure was 350 million rubles.
