Three new cases of coronavirus infection have been detected in Abkhazia

Operational Headquarters continues to inform people on situation with coronavirus.
Sukhum. July 25, 2020. Apsnypress. Over the past day, there was taken a biomaterial for testing for coronavirus infection from 69 people. The diagnosis of COVID-19 was confirmed in three people.
These are two patients of one of the medical institutions in Sukhum, as well as one citizen of Abkhazia who had arrived earlier from Sochi, the operational headquarters for protection of population from coronavirus reported on Saturday, July 25.
The survey of all contact persons is ongoing.
Four of the newly identified patients in the last days on the evening of July 24 were hospitalized in Gudauta Central Regional Hospital, two are in one of the medical institutions in Sukhum, three people are in self-isolation at home. The total number of detected cases of coronavirus in Abkhazia today is 48 people. Of these, 37 people recovered, one patient died.
The operational headquarters for protecting the population from coronavirus infection calls on the citizens of Abkhazia to take all necessary precautions to avoid infection.
