This is the conclusion of a meeting led by Deputy Minister of Health Batal Katsiya.
Sukhum. August 7. Apsnypress. The Republican GosSanEpidemNadzor laboratory of the Ministry of Health under the leadership of Deputy Minister of Abkhazia Batal Katsiya and the chief sanitary doctor Vladimir Berulava held a meeting with the head physicians of medical institutions of towns and regions, as well as heads of regional departments of sanitary-epidemiological services.
They discussed sanitary and epidemiological situation during the holiday season and the prevention and diagnosis of food poisoning. In addition, measures to strengthen control over sanitary and epidemic state of the public places and beaches, food and nutrition, as well as the quality of the sea and tap water.
It was noted that the increased uptake in medical institutions in the summer of patients with foodborne diseases is to the seasonal nature of the republic. It is connected, in the opinion of experts, not only with the number of population at the expense of tourists, but also with adaptation to the new conditions and changing climate.
Following the meeting, was made the draft order on the need to strengthen preventive measures in the field of sanitary and epidemiological work in the republic.
