Tourism and agricultural area: what interest entrepreneurs of Bashkortostan in Abkhazia

A meeting with entrepreneurs of the Republic of Bashkortostan was held at the RA CCI.

Sukhum. February 13. Apsnypress. In the conference hall of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Republic of Abkhazia was held a meeting of the President of the Chamber Tamila Mertskhulava with entrepreneurs of the Republic of Bashkortostan.
 
 The Bashkir delegation was led by the chairman of the Bashkir regional branch of the All-Russian Public Organization of Small and Medium-Sized Business "Opora Rossii", part-time representative of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Republic of Abkhazia in the Republic of Bashkortostan - Lyaysan Nikolaeva.
 
 The arrival of guests is timed to the participation of the delegation from Bashkortostan in the Russian Investment Forum, which will be held in Sochi from February 14 to 15.
 
 Opening the meeting, President of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Abkhazia expressed readiness for fruitful cooperation and increasing contacts with business circles of Bashkortostan.
 
 Tamila Mertskhulava noted that the friendly relations between Abkhazia and Bashkortostan were formed quite a long time ago. “All this time the Republic of Bashkortostan has been and remains for us a friendly republic. It was one of the first during the 1992-1993 War of the people of Abkhazia to give us a fraternal helping hand. It also provided humanitarian aid in the postwar period, which was difficult for our republic, ” - she said.
 
 Mertskhulava also recalled that today more than 100 specialists who received education in Bashkir universities work for the benefit of their state .
 
 For their part, Bashkir entrepreneurs reported that they had specially arrived in Abkhazia in order to familiarize themselves with the general economic potential of the republic on the spot. At the same time, the guests showed particular interest in the tourism and agricultural areas, in the Agreement on Trade Regime signed by the governments of the Republic of Abkhazia and the Russian Federation and the main activities of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Abkhazia.
 
 The guests were offered to organize a business mission to Abkhazia for Bashkir entrepreneurs to familiarize them with the economic and investment potential of the Republic of Abkhazia in detail, analyze the export / import market for products manufactured in Abkhazia and expand contacts between the entrepreneurs of the two republics.
 
 Also, the Abkhaz side proposed to consider an invitation for tour operators of Bashkortostan to visit Abkhazia in order to maximally inform them about the activities of this sphere, show our tourist facilities and orient them at prices.
 
 During the conversation there was raised a question on the opening the Trading House “Goods from Bashkiria” in Abkhazia, which would provide an opportunity to properly analyze the market for further export / import and organize an exhibition of both Abkhaz products in the Republic of Bashkortostan and vice versa.
 
 At the end of the meeting, entrepreneurs expressed their readiness to cooperate with the business community of Abkhazia in different directions.
