Deputy head of the town administration Leon Kvarchia told Apsnypress about the practical content of the agreement signed in the framework of Russian-Abkhazian Business Forum.

In this case, the mayor Adgur Kharazia and chairman of the Board of Directors of JSC "Transproject Group" Vitaly Maximov sure that the development of strategic partnership and establishment of long-term, mutually beneficial cooperation will make Sukhum the investment attractive town.

On the preparation of the Agreement and its practical content spoke deputy head of the administration of the capital Leon Kvarchia: "Agreement was preceded by extensive preparatory work to identify priority areas of cooperation. A timed to coincide with the signing of the Russian-Abkhazian Forum. By the way, in August specialists of "Transproject Group" held in Sukhum workshop for heads of local executive authorities ", - said the deputy mayor.

According to him, public-private partnership is a fairly common form of investment cooperation. This format is used for modernization, reconstruction and restoration of objects: social, engineering, transport, which requires significant investments. "There is a large number of objects in Sukhum, in particular health and education, which can not be privatized, and we can not restore themselves. Kindergartens, for example. They are not enough, the kids have time to grow before there is a suitable place in the kindergarten. And if you give in the use of the investor broken kindergarten building, he will recover and keep it. For example, if the kindergarten has only 100 places, 60-70 will be paid. Free places will be available for children from poor families, as well as the victims and disabled war veterans", - said Leon Kvarchia.

As Kvarchia noted signed agreement is a framework. For each individual project will be signed the contract. At present, a pilot project for the implementation of which is planned to create an object of leisure and entertainment for locals and guests. "We have no this object. So we decided to start the implementation of the Agreement from it. The project is relatively simple to implement. We need experience, some knowledge in order to start implementing more extensive, complex projects. Once the first draft is ready, we will present it. Company is currently looking for a potential investor for us",- said Leon Kvarchia.

He stressed that the practical meaning of the Agreement is in stimulating investment activity in the part of the restoration of public infrastructure, "I hope we will succeed, and our experience will be useful to other towns and districts".

Kvarchia also said that the agreement was signed with ZAO "Transproject Group" based on years of experience of the company as an investment adviser of state and municipal government. "Working for more than 10 years, the company has implemented infrastructure projects totaling more than 50 billion euros. They can be trusted, they have a good reputation. Negotiations were conducted with the support of the Russian trade mission in Abkhazia ", - said Leon Kvarchia.
