Draft law of Town Planning & Building Code of Abkhazia will be discussed tomorrow, on July 8, at a meeting of the Parliament session.

It should help to regulate the problem of unauthorized constructions, the permissible storeys and many other issues", - explained in an interview with" Apsnypress "Head of Architecture and Construction of the Administration Tamara Lakrba.
"Unauthorised construction - this is a problem throughout Abkhazia, not only of the capital. In addition, the issues that concern people is the number of storeys and the exterior of buildings under construction. All these issues should be regulated in Town Planning Code ", - said Lakrba.
According to her, there should not be buildings taller than 16 meters in the central part of the town, but there is no legislation yet as legitimate reason to deny the developers. "We can only make recommendations. The same applies to the appearance and style of the buildings. Therefore, we need Town Planning Code ", - said the chief specialist of the Department of Architecture Vakhtang Kvarandziya.
