We must do everything that children of primary schools move to the abkhaz method of education on September 1st, 2015 - Temur Nadaraya.

At a press conference in ARSMIRA the head of administration of Gal district, said that in 11 of the 20 schools in Gal district trainings are conducted in the Georgian language. In the remaining 9 - the program of the Ministry of Education, Science, Sports and Youth Policy. These 11 schools are taught by Georgian textbooks in which the Georgian authorities spread their ideology.
"We are not against the teaching of the Georgian language, but in those schools where instruction is conducted in the Georgian language - 90% of the graduates possess only this language and after finishing school they leave. Those who stay are not adapted to a full life in our society, even to speak with them is necessary with the help of an interpreter", - shared the problem of education in Gal district Temur Nadaraya.
He noted that the Abkhazian side proposes to conduct training in Russian, but allowing to teach their native language. Graduates of these schools must have at least a basic knowledge of the Abkhaz and Russian languages.
There are 27 teachers from other districts of Abkhazia teach Abkhaz language in Gal district, but, according to Nadaraya, their number should be increased significantly. To begin solving the problem of the Gal schools the Ministry of Education, Science, Sports and Youth Affairs handed over 4000 books on Russian and Abkhaz language for younger students.
