Tsakhnakiya: over the past period, patients with symptoms similar to COVID-19 have not accessed medical faciliti

The Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Abkhazia held a meeting of Coordination Headquarters for Protection of Population from Coronavirus Infection.

Sukhum. July 29. Apsnypress.  At a meeting of Coordination Staff for Protection of Population from Coronavirus Infection, Minister of Health of the Republic of Abkhazia Tamaz Tsakhnakiya reported on the epidemiological situation in the country.

According to Tsakhnakiya: “For the current period, since the last meeting of Coordination Headquarters, a favorable situation has developed. No new infections have been identified. Patients who were hospitalized are still in satisfactory condition. ”

Minister quoted the figures: “Over the entire period in the republic 38 cases of coronavirus infection have been registered among our citizens, of which 33 patients have recovered, 4 are being hospitalized, their condition is satisfactory. If there are negative test results, they will be discharged home.
 
Separately, Tsakhnakiya spoke about the conditions for observing citizens at the Aitar Hotel: “Today there are 2 people there, these are our medical staff who were involved in treatment of patients with coronavirus. All necessary quarantine measures are carried out in full. There were no problems with the provision of medicines for medical purposes. ”

“For the last period from the moment of our last meeting, patients with symptoms similar to COVID-19 did not access to medical facilities,” - Tsakhnakiya emphasized.
