Vadim Kharazia formulated a position of Abkhazia on trilateral meeting:"The problems that exist between Russia and Turkey have a large negative impact on the national, political and economic interests of Abkhazia. On the one hand, Russia is our strategic partner and ally, on the other - Turkey is home to a large number of representatives of the Abkhaz diaspora, relations with in many respects were interrupted due to the foreign policy of the Russian-Turkish conflict. Therefore, the problem of relations between Russia and Turkey is included in the terms of the national interests of Abkhazia".

According to Kharazia, in preparation of a trilateral meeting were involved Abkhazian and Russian politicians and public figures, as well as the plenipotentiary representative of the Republic of Abkhazia in Ankara Inar Gitsba. Previously held the appropriate consultations for 2-3 weeks. At the same time both Russian and Turkish sides noted the leading role of Abkhazia as an initiator of the event, as well as its willingness to act as an organizational platform in subsequent meetings. "But most importantly, the participants of tripartite initiatives expressed the need to continue the discussion in an expanded format, including leading politicians and diplomats of the three countries", - stressed Kharazia

Vadim Kharazia considers it appropriate to start a tripartite dialogue with the establishment of cultural relations: "We see problems in politics. The peoples do not have a negative attitude towards each other. As emphasized at the meeting of the Turkish side, Turkey is home to 950,000 Russian citizens, only their in Ankara more than 50 thousand, concluded more than 250 thousand common marriages are born Russian children. At the same time the Turks offer to provide Russian Christians building area of over 600 square meters, for the Orthodox religious services.
