Sukhum. June 29. Apsnypress. Delegation of Abkhazia headed by Vadim Kharazia held in Turkey a number of events dedicated to the 70th anniversary of Vladislav Ardzinba.
Together with the Federation of Abkhaz cultural centers of Turkey organized a photo exhibition, documentary film about Vladislav Ardzinba, a number of meetings with the Abkhaz diaspora. The delegation also took part in the twenty-sixth International Festival of Culture and Tourism, in which participated dance groups of Abkhazia.
Kharazia said that today there are thirteen Abkhaz cultural centers in Turkey, and they interact with each other through the Federation of Abkhaz cultural centers.
"They all work productively and have a vision that their number will increase", - said Kharazia.
He also said that the centers are organizing courses of Abkhazian language and national dances.
"We will promote our country, from the cuisine, language and traditions. We, in the Committee established social and adaptive department. It needs to work on the image of the country, making projects attractive and aiming at the return of our compatriots to their historic homeland", - said the head of the Committee. He believes that to strengthen the relations with the Diaspora it is needed to develop relations with Turkey in the field of business.
"The trade turnover between Turkey and Abkhazia is more than 250 million dollars. And this figure will increase. The emphasis is on creating a favorable business climate in the country. I think that without this it will be difficult to build any relationship with the Diaspora", - said Kharazia.
